Who we are

Buddo is an app by Giuseppe Simone Sassano. For any question, including support, you can write to support@buddoapp.com.

When they apply

These terms apply from the moment you create an account, by ticking the box when you sign up or by continuing with Google or Apple. Alongside them there is the Privacy Policy, which explains what happens to your data.

The service

Buddo helps you understand how much you can spend and how much to put aside, starting from the numbers you enter. It is free. If something ever becomes paid, we’ll say so beforehand and you’ll never be charged anything you didn’t choose.

Not advice

Buddo does the maths with the data you enter and shows you estimates. It is not a bank or a payment service, it doesn’t connect to your bank account and it doesn’t move money. It is not financial, tax or legal advice: the decisions are yours.

Your account

Your account is personal. Keep your password safe and let us know if you think someone else knows it. You are responsible for what happens with your account.

How to use it

Use Buddo lawfully. Don’t try to get into other people’s accounts, copy or modify the app, or do anything that could harm the service or the people who use it.

Your data and the app

The data you enter stays yours: we only use it to make Buddo work, as the Privacy Policy explains. The app, the Buddo name and the logo are ours: you may use the app for yourself, on a device you own or control, without passing it on to others.

Errors and interruptions

We do our best to keep Buddo running and its calculations right, but there may be errors or interruptions, and the estimates depend on the numbers you enter. We are not liable for damage resulting from a decision based on an estimate, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Closing your account

You can stop using Buddo whenever you like and delete your account from the app, in Account → Email and password → Delete account: your account and your data are deleted straight away. We may suspend an account that seriously breaches these terms, letting you know when possible.

If we change them

If we change these terms in an important way, we’ll tell you in the app before the change applies. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account.

App Store and Google Play

These terms are an agreement between you and us, not with Apple or Google. We, not they, are responsible for Buddo, its support and any warranty or claim about it, including intellectual property claims. If you downloaded Buddo from the App Store, Apple’s usage rules also apply, and Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms against you. By using Buddo you confirm that you are not in a country subject to a United States embargo and are not on any US list of parties who may not be provided with services.

Law and courts

Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections given by the law of the country where you live, and any case belongs to the courts where you reside.
